Event Rules

Competition beer vs event beer: Just to be clear, the Competition beer will be provided in three 12 oz bottles prior to the event. The Event beer is what the brewers will pour for the attendees at the Event. Please clarify with us if this is not understood.

There will be a Peoples Choice award for the entrant/team with the most tokens. The winner of the People’s Choice will get a Gift Card to used at Autonomous Society.

Each entry must have a minimum of two gallons (or bottle equivalent) of each competition entry at the Labor of Love event to be poured for attendees. Entrants/teams can and are encouraged to bring additional beers to share with attendees.

Brewers will need to provide their own canopy, tables, chairs and serving equipment (jockey boxes, kegs with picnic taps, etc).

There will be spaces allocated for 18 10×10 foot push up canopies. There will be 2 entrants/teams in each space. You will need to provide your own canopy. Please try to pair up with individuals/teams and share a canopy or the LoL organizers will assign teams to locations. Dean Weaver or his designate will have the map of the popup locations. Work with Dean if you want a location near other brewers.

No electricity will be provided. You can use a quiet generator if you need power.

20 pounds of ice per entrant/team will be provided.

The main competition winners will be announced at 1:00pm on the day of the event. The People’s Choice winners will be announced at 4:00pm.
